What are the requirements for the venues?
The venue for the dressage tests must have a minimum size of approx. 20x40m, be flat, and the letters must be attached according to the usual requirements. If there is a 20x60m arena, this can of course be shortened to 20x40m and adapted to the respective test. When using both squares in an arena, the correct position of the respective letters must be observed, and these must be marked differently (e.g. with different colors) so that the judge can recognize which letters belong to which square. Since the recorded video of the test must always show the complete horse, the square can also be shortened by 2 meters in a 20x40m hall. But even then you have to pay attention to the correct positioning of the letters.
For jumling competiton the arena must have also a minimum size of 20x40m. Different courses are offered for different venues / arena sizes.
When registering, the dimensions and the type of the ground floor are requested. These must be specified as precisely as possible so that Equi-League can filter out suitable competitions for this riding arena. Several riding arenas can also be entered. Further detailed requirements can be found in the respective examination announcements.
